    Pedal the Lakes

    Pedal the Lakes is a bicycle tour beginning in Greenville, PA. It has multiple distances for all abilities and visits many of northwestern Pennsylvania's and Ohio's water ways and lakes.

    Event Details:

    Within a ninety minute drive from Erie, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, our full-service tour in

    beautiful Western PA and NE Ohio features Amish countryside, several lakes, rolling rural

    roads, and a chance siting of ducks walking on fish. Routes will be 12, 32, 65, and 100

    miles.  Support vehicles patrol the course, but bikes should be in good working order.  

    Riders are encouraged to bring tubes, patches, tools, pumps, etc.  Helmets are required.

     The 21st anniversary celebration ride will provide exposure to our newly completed crushed limestone Shenango River Trail from Main Street to Porter Road. Be sure to stick around for the first annual Greenville Commfest happening in downtown Greenville Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.

    Velodrome Racing & Kickoff Party

    A night of high-speed, gravity-defying racing at Ohio's only velodrome complex. 

    Nestled in Cleveland's historic Slavic Village - just a short drive from The Hub at Edgewater Park - the Cleveland Velodrome opened in August 2012 and has featured consistant racing throughout the summer months ever since.

    Since it's NEOCycle, the Velodrome will be featuring both the high speed action on the track and great food and drinks in the infield for all spectators with the NEOCycle Kickoff Party. Click here to register!

    KNOX COUNTY BICYCLE CHALLENGE

    The Knox County Bicycle Challenge (KCBC) is a recreational bicycle ride that can accommodate CYCLISTS OF ALL ABILITIES. The ride and route was established by the Knox County Bicycle Club and is now sponsored by Columbus Outdoor Pursuits. The longer routes showcase some of the prettiest country Ohio has to offer, magnificent vistas, meandering valley roads, wooded wilderness and HILLS!

    NEOCycle has grown the past few years, and it continues to grow with the addition of a thrilling mountain bike race put on by Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Recreation.  Gather at Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation for a great, 12+ mile course with fun descents and hard climbs before enjoying a meal at Edgewater Park where the rest of the action packed NEOCycle event is happening.

    MCPc Fundo p/b Bike Cleveland

     


    Saturday, September 10th

    Our ride! The MCPc Fundo, is happening Saturday, September 10th! This is a casual, fun ride that exposes people of all ages and fitness levels to many of Cleveland’s unique neighborhoods and surrounding areas by bicycle. With fully marked courses of 10, 34 and 62 miles,all proceeds from the ride go to funding Bike Cleveland's advocacy efforts.

    This is a fully supported ride, meaning we will have multiple rest stops sponsored by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer Distict along the route, and support vehicles to help if you have a flat or other bike issue. Wrap up your ride at the 
    NEOCycle Hub at Edgewater Park for food, drinks, entertainment and hang out with us and your fellow riders. Learn more at www.MCPcFundo.com

    This safe, fun ride is open to riders of all skill levels and ends back at The Hub, where the party really gets going with the headlining act of the NEOCycle Music Fest.

    Hancock Horizontal Hundred Bicycle Tour

    20, 40, 62 and 100 Mile Routes

    Join us for one of the flattest rides in Ohio. Great ride for your first 100 mile “Century” attempt. Bicycle dealer/vendor displays and a free ice cream social Saturday evening. “Chris Cakes” serving hot cakes breakfast Sunday morning. Ride fee includes: patch (to first 1000 registrants), map, rest stops w/food, lunch, SAG support and a well marked route on smooth blacktop roads. All corners are swept the day prior to the event. There will be certificates of completion and ice cream (from 2 pm - 4 pm) at the end of the ride for everyone.

    Edge of the World Cyclocross Spectacular

     Teaming up with Spin Bike Shop, NEOCycle features a top notch Cyclocross race through Edgewater Park.

    The race course encircles and travels through all the action at The Hub, while challenging riders with the natural obstacles of Edgewater Park and some unique man-made surprises as well. Surrounding the action is all the energy, live music and spectators of The Hub, making the The Edge of the World Cyclocross Spectacular a can't-miss event!

    New to cyclocross? Come down the day before and participate in a skills clinic and course preview led by experienced cyclocross riders. No matter your skill level they'll be a group for you.

    2017 Roscoe Ramble (43rd)

    A two day 110 or 150 mile bicycle tour
    through the 
    Heart of Amish Country!

    The 43rd Roscoe Ramble begins Saturday, Sept. 16, in Canal Fulton (long route) or Kidron (short route) and winds its way through rolling farmland to Roscoe Village. You will stay overnight in nearby Coshocton and return to Canal Fulton or Kidron on Sunday, Sept. 17. The ride is intended for the well-conditioned rider so be sure to consider the shorter route if in doubt.

    The Sunday ride offers challenges of hills and dips heading back to the Saturday start.

    Entry Fee includes:

    • Overnight parking at the starting point
    • Snack stop at Fire Station Saturday morning
    • Lunch stop at popular Farm at Walnut Creek
    • Ice cream at end of Saturday ride
    • Evening dinner on Saturday

    North East Ohio (Cookie) Century is cycling at its best! This year we start from the Trumbull County Fairgrounds Banquet Center, 899 Everett Cortland Hull Rd., Cortland, (Bazetta Township) Ohio. The Center is north of Warren and west of Mosquito Lake.

    Routes: It’s entirely up to you — go long or not! Choose from six loops for a 25..50..62..75..100..100+ mile ride of mostly flat terrain through beautiful Trumbull County. New rider? Our 25 mile Greenway Path Loop avoids most traffic!
    Check out our cue sheets and route maps.

    Support: All routes begin and loop back to the Banquet Center for rest stops and lunch. NEOC is famous for its “all you can eat” homemade cookies, and with our hot pasta you won’t go hungry!

    Registration: Opens at 7:00 a.m. to accommodate the longer rides...and will be available till 11:00 a.m. for those who want to follow a shorter route. Regardless, all rides will enjoy snacks and lunch! Pre-register and skip the lines...a packet with maps and materials will be waiting for you.

    Fun and Prizes: All registered riders will get free tickets for prize giveaways and a cash drawing!

    SAG: SAG support available through 4:00 p.m. for mechanical breakdowns and other assistance.

    Confirmation: If confirmation is desired, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped business sized envelope.
