A little tribute to the Ronde van Vlaanderen / Tour of Flanders this weekend as part of the spring classics in northern Europe. Just like the Ronde, this route features lots of short, steep climbs, with little recovery time, and a bit of brick surface, too. This is not for the faint of heart - be ready for multiple climbs (Main St., Falls Rd, County Line) and the brick pave sections in Chagrin Falls. Ride starts at the polo fields on River Road, 1/4 mile south of S. Woodland Road. Ride stats are roughly 2000' of climbing in 34 miles.
Event is tentatively planned for March 31, the day before the real thing! May re-schedule if weather is too sketchy - stay tuned for details.
