We know that conditions for holding a large public event are still in doubt, but if we do hold the event in 2021, we need to start planning in January.

Sunday in June Volunteer Registration is Open!






Club members and supporters, we are seeking volunteers for the Cleveland Touring Club's 44th Sunday in June cycling event on TBD!  We would not be able to hold this event without volunteers -- we Thank You in advance for your helping hand!

Volunteers will receive a T-shirt (see below), a free lunch, you can ride the SIJ event for free, and/or a post-ride on Monday for any volunteers that want to ride that day too! Also, there will be mid-spring volunteer-only "test" rides that help the SIJ Route Team assess route(s) suitability. 

If you sign up to be a Shift/Area Leader, you'll also receive free pizza during the Leader Planning Meeting the week before the event!

When you register, you'll be asked to pick a task(s). If ANY has already been filled, the word (FILLED) will appear in front of the task name at the registration page only, not in the below list of tasks choices.

Saturday Tasks

  • 9:00-1:00: Supplies, Sort or Deliver at Century Village (LARGE Vehicles welcomed)
  • 12:00-4:00: Supplies, Sort or Deliver at Century Village

Sunday Tasks

  • 6:00-9:30:  Parking
  • 6:30-9:30: Century Village, Registration
  • 6:30-9:00: Century Village, Merchandise
  • 6:30-10:30: Registration, bring Smartphone for Credit Cards
  • 6:30-9:00: Century Village Rest Stop, Set Up & Man
  • 8:00-11:00: Driver/Supplies, plus vehicle/bike rack
  • 8:00-11:00: Parkman Rest Stop, Set Up & Man
  • 8:30-11:30: Big Creek Rest Stop, Set Up & Man
  • 9:00-11:30: Century Village Rest Stop
  • 9:00-11:00: Century Village Sell Merchandise
  • 11:00-3:00: Parkman Rest Stop, Man & Tear Down
  • 11:00-3:00: Driver/Supplies, need vehicle, bike rack
  • 11:30-3:00: Big Creek Rest Stop, Man & Tear Down
  • 11:30-3:00: Century Village Rest Stop, Man/Tear Down
  • 3:00-5:00: Driver, Sweep Routes, need vehicle, bike rack
  • 3:00-5:00: Clean Up &  Delivery, Various Locations

Specialty Tasks (specific tasks required):

  • 6:00-4:00: Radio Operator
  • 6:00-4:00: SAG
  • 6:00-4:00: Photographer, Roaming
  • 10:30- 4:00:  Massage Therapist


Volunteer T-Shirts


We will be giving all NEW volunteers a unisex t-shirt.  For those of you that have a t-shirt already (blue with chain ring logo), please wear it while doing any volunteering.  If you have lost it or it no longer fits, please order a new one. Please be sure to indicate your size.
