    This weekly ride departs from Mountain Road Cycles in Chagrin Falls and features a series of rides that repeat throughout the season.  Rides run from the beginning of April to the end of October

    Tuesday Night Concord Ride       

    Description:  This weekly mapped ride takes advantage of the quiet rural roads of Lake and Geauga counties. Concord is a great launching point for some of the best riding in Northeast Ohio. The rides start in Concord is just a quarter mile from I-90 and Rt 44.

    Social Ride -- Average below 14 mph; email contact Frank Zoretich

    Ride Leader, Frank Zoretich has been leading this ride for 10+ years. This group meets at 7:00 pm and route distances average 15-22 miles. There are no maps and the ride frequently regroups. Frank hosts a monthly potluck at the park's Forest Picnic Area ... all CTC members are invited!

    Ride Leader, Greg Ubic, has been leading this ride for a few years. This group meets at 6:30 pm and route distances vary. There are no maps and the ride frequently regroups. 
    No-Drop social ride where pace is unimportant.

    Bikin' For Burritos

    Start: Painesville Township Park


    35, 52 or 74 miles, flat terrain (26 feet/mi) 
    Come join us as we cruise past the nurseries, covered bridges and lake shore of scenic Lake and Ashtabula Counties along flat to lightly rolling roads, with route options of 35, 52 and 74 miles. Be sure to stop for re-fueling on the way back at Los Compadres Mexican Restaurant in Madison for the best burritos around.

    Los Compadres (440-983-4755) is open from 11am to 9pm on Sundays and is at the same address as the old Flying Burrito.

    PICNIC IS APPROXIMATELY 11:30am - 2:00pm

    WHERE: 

    DIRECTIONS:
    Use the Headwaters South Entrance on Rt 608 (Old State Rd). This is the mid-way point of the Maple Highlands Trail. Go to 2nd parking lot.  You can drive to the Crystal Lake Shelter and unload before parking. 

    See the Headwaters Park Map (HEADWATERS PARK MAP) or the Maple Highlands Trail Map (MAPLE HIGHLANDS TRAIL MAP) for more details.

    ANY CTC MEMBER, MEMBER FAMILY OR GUEST

    WHAT:  
    PLEASE BRING A DISH TO SHARE INCLUDING SERVING PIECES, AND YOUR OWN BEVERAGES

    When you register online indicate what food items you'll bring to share - such as side dishes, including but not limited to:
    • Salads
    • Fruit
    • Vegetable Dishes
    • Casseroles
    • Appetizers
    • Desserts
    CLUB WILL PROVIDE: 
    HOT DOGS, HAMBURGERS, BUNS,  CONDIMENTS,  PAPER PRODUCTS, ICE, SOME BOTTLED WATER

    FEE:  
    FREE!  YOUR SHARED DISH IS YOUR ONLY COST.

    ROUTES, START TIMES AND DISTANCES:

    8:30 AM - 55 Mile Route (A/B riders)

    9:00 AM - 28 Mile Route (C/Social riders)

    9:30 - 10:00 AM - Up to 18 Mile Route (Family) at whatever pace, out and back.

    (Note: This ride depends on leader availability).



    Important: Everyone should return from their ride sometime between 11:30 AM and Noon!
    PICTURES:
    Nan Horvath will be taking individual pictures of everyone with their bike before the 55 and 28 mile rides.  Riders should plan on arriving 15-30 minutes early to make sure they get their picture taken by Nan.  Any "Family" riders can have their individual photos taken after they return from their ride.

    Group Photo - will be taken around 12:30 - 1:00 PM

    Girdled Road Park

    Start: Girdled Road Reservation south

    25, 48 or 53 miles, hilly terrain (64 feet/mi)

    Ride through the wooded hills of northern Geauga County and farms of the south.  Water and food is available in Chesterland and Chardon.  The long route is 53 miles, not 60 as shown on the map.

    Pedal To Punderson

    Start: Chardon

    25 ~ 52 miles, rolling terrain (47 feet/mi)   

    Stop at Punderson State Park for water and then make your decision. Riders wishing for a short tour can turn around and return to Chardon.  Those wanting to go further can continue on to Hiram. Be prepared for moderate to rolling hills.

    Eddy's Fruit Farm

    Start: North Chagrin

    Take a fall break from raking leaves with hot cider and cookies at Eddy's Fruit Farm in Chesterland. The short route stays west of Chardon. For those wanting additional miles an extra loop into Chardon is available.

    The Social Group route is a bit shorter

    Fall Color Ride

    Start: Gurney School

    Distance:  42 miles

    This rural tour shows off the beautiful fall colors of Northeast Ohio.  We exit from Gurney School and ride east on Bell/Music and eventually loops through Punderson State Park and town center of Burton.  A Tandem Friendly ride!

    This rolling to hilly route will take the brave around Thompson into western Ashtabula County, northwestern Trumbell County, and then back into Geauga County. Facilities will be available along the route
