    Whiskey Rebellion Gravel 50/100K

The Whiskey Rebellion Gravel Ride will be a fun and friendly tour through historic PA landscapes of Washington County. Washington County was the site of a farmer rebellion against the first U.S. tax levied in 1791 -- a tax on whiskey. Today, Washington County prospers from gas exploration and the country roads we'll be riding are peppered with old and new farms along with gas pipelines. Expect roads to vary from little gravel to big, gnarly new gravel and from hilly to rolling. There will be one rest stop during the 100K, as we will be looping through our starting point to finish off the first 50K and continue on with our 100K, which will also be looping back to finish right where we started. The entire ride will be lightly/sparsely supported (due to lack of cell phone coverage). The terrain will be challenging but, we will have a few different paced groups so that everyone has a group.

Rust Belt Revival Trail Coalition Beer Ride

The Rust Belt Revival Trail Coalition is pleased to promote our very first BEER RIDE!   This is certainly a RIDE and not a RACE.  We want everyone to enjoy the ride, the Breweries and the fellowship amongst cyclists and friends.  BEER drinking is not required during this event, it's totally your choice!  We highly advise though that you try the "Yabadababrew Session IPA" that Birdfish Brewing Company is debuting and making especially for this event!

In addition RBRTC has a major role in volunteering to build trails.  Currently we are maintaing and building new trails at Lake Milton State Park, Beaver Creek State Park and Poland Woods Park.  Successful events like this help make all of this possible!

Wanna get dirty?  A super challenging and hilly road / off-road race in northern West Virginia.  70 miles and 7000' of climbing, this one will drive you to tears!  Best suited for mountain or 'cross bikes

This is going to be a mean one, Folks! This course will take you over dirt and paved "State Roads" around Monongalia County in Northern West Virginia. Finish times could be 6 plus hours for some riders. Road conditions may include missing bridges, car-sized potholes, gravel, mud, black top, cow paths, and maybe a piece of road kill or two. That's what we call good riding! Leave your expensive Flux-Capacitors and fancy wheels at home and maybe bring the cross bike. It might be the best tool for the job, but bring whatever you think is best for you. However, if you show up with Zipps on your road bike we may laugh and point at you. This race course has just about everything a cyclist says they want when they're talking it up with their buddies. Now let us see ya ride it! Course will have fully stocked aid stations along the way. Sag support will be provided.

    Mt. Davis Challenge

A Road Race Over The Highest Point In PA

The Mt. Davis Challenge Road Race is a 40 mile race that traverses the highest point in Pennsylvania. The course is lollipop style that starts in Confluence, PA and utilizes the hilly back roads of the Mt. Davis area and climbs to an elevation of 3213ft. Once over the top it descends on the eastern side and climbs back up on Savage Road before returning to Confluence. Prolonged climbs, fast descents and some rough road surfaces make this a true challenge. This will be the fifth year for the race, which is promoted by the Confluence Tourism Association. www.visitconfluence.info For more information or questions contact race director Jim Sota at mtdavischallenge@gmail.com or call (814) 926-2840.
